It was quite a cold afternoon but Kate, Ella and Alex braved the winter weather to meet me with smiles and laughter. They are expecting a lovely addition to their family in April, so I was very pleased to be able to photograph them together before the big day. As we walked in a nearby field Ella whizzed around and around her parents, providing some gorgeous shots of all of them. Kate and Ella then climbed to the top of the gate and began pulling faces at each other, which caused me to giggle so much I could barely keep the camera straight. There were some great tree stumps nearby perfect for getting the family together around Kate’s lovely bump. After a couple shots, Ella began to pull a cheeky grin so we headed over to the local playground. Kate climbing to the top of the gate was great, Ella and Kate making faces at one another whilst on the gate was fabulous, but when Alex got on the merry-go-round with Ella, it was the icing on the cake. The sheer joy on both of their faces was glorious, both on and off the camera!
