I was so pleased when Andrea got in touch with me to photograph their lovely little baby, James. I met Andrea when she attended one of my Digital Photography courses last January. Her husband Steve said that since the course, even when Andrea was quite pregnant, she was really working on her camera angles and perspectives! So it was a delight to see them again and meet baby James. I photographed the family together at home, keeping the shoot relaxed, to work around James’ schedule. He loved looking out the window, which allowed me to take some lovely shots of his cute face. I wanted to capture as much “baby” as possible for Andrea and Steve, as our children grow up so quickly. I loved photographing his feet and then his hands wrapped around Andrea’s finger. Steve works in farming and loves his Claas machines, so I was delighted to surround James with the models he would be riding in in the not so distant future! I can’t wait to capture father and son riding through the fields together.
