I photographed this sweet family near Guildford for their mum and grandmother’s birthday. It was a gorgeous, brisk February morning, with sunshine and even a couple budding flowers! We started off with a photo of the whole family, getting the kids to run in between shots to keep them smiling and laughing. I wanted to include as much of the landscaped background as possible in the shots, and I love how the roses are framing the family in the shot above, drawing your eye to their sweet faces. After the family photograph, it was a biscuit break and a run around for all the children. They loved running through the gardens and playing hide and seek with one another – giving me great smiles to record and even a couple large bouts of laughter! I took photographs of each family together as well, getting the cousins to aid me in creating smiles – which they did well! It was a lovely morning spent photographing this lovely extended family, and I hope their mother enjoyed the photos too!
