These days I have been quite focused on family and children’s portraits, so when Ellen contacted me earlier in the year to photograph her March wedding, I was very excited to have the opportunity to capture their big day. The ceremony took place at the Old Marylebone Town Hall, which had gorgeous large windows that provided great light for the event. I met Matt, Jake and the energetic flower girls at the Landmark Hotel, and was able to take some last minute shots of the girls getting ready. We then walked up the road to the town hall together, which provided some fun shots of the wedding party with a great london backdrop. Once there, I captured the flower girls twirling in their gorgeous white dresses and white ballerina shoes throughout the registry hallway. They were so excited for Ellen to arrive, and to see her beautiful dress. Ellen soon arrived with her father, and she looked absolutely stunning. The ceremony was sweet, I photographed some lovely moments between the bride and groom, which will remind them of the day for years to come. One of my favourite images from the day was when they left the registry office, and their guests threw the confetti. Ellen and Matt looked so happy walking down the steps together, surrounded by their good friends and loved ones. The reception took place at the Landmark Hotel, where I was able to photograph everyone enjoying themselves together. It was a lovely event, and I wish you both the best!
